I’m back from california. I had a really really good time. I posted a bunch of the notable pictures here. Sherman and I got to see L.A. and Vegas, Hollywood and a bunch of the rest of the west. My first time going to the west of the US and couldn’t be happier with it.

I’ve got mixed feelings about the size of the cities. Mainly because I’ll be finding a job soon and might have to move away. It makes me see the good and bad points of Halifax. I’ll try to go into it in further detail in an OuterSurf article.

I’m heading off to go to the airport. I’ll be in Califonia later tonight. Lots of pictures and lots of fun on the menu.

Yeah. That picture below was my prediction of how we would place when we had finished our presentation. I wouldn’t bet against me.

This is the second time I’ve won a Atlantic Engineering Competition and the second time that I will have attended the national competition. Our senior year project fit the criteria perfectly. This will be a major advantage at the national competition as the judging criteria are largely non-technical.

Needless to say I’m looking forward to the traveling I get to do in the upcoming months.

I’m heading off to an engineering competition with Evan Kelsey and Moarbes. Simon is coming too as he disigned this crazy bouncy ball that lights up. I’ll post some pics and let you know if we win the $1000 prize + trip to Montreal.
