While you do get a bit of sleep every night and sometimes leave the house, you spend as much time as you can online. You usually have a browser, chat clients, server consoles, and your email on auto check open at all times. Phone? What’s that? You plan your social events by contacting your friends online. Just be careful you don’t get a repetitive wrist injury…honesty and tax returns.
I was talking to a friend last night and it got me thinking about first dates. I was talking about how on first dates often guys will put on their good guy faces. They always open doors and would never make fun of someone for fear of seeming cruel. I think I summarized it by saying guys act like the kind of guy that the girl would want to take home and show Mom.
But I don’t want my date to act like my mom was always around.
Isn’t that the truth. So I’m not sure why guys do it, but they do. On somewhat related not I got my tax return in so I can afford to go on a date now.

what makes me happy.
There are a lot of things that make me happy. One of the insignificant things is when technology makes things easier. For example, I have a PC remote control make by Packard Bell that was hard to install. I tried installing it a few months ago and it was a real pain in the ass. Today I try installing it again and found an updated piece of software… within 5 minutes I was adjusting winamps volume and switching DivX tracks from my couch.
The thing that amazes me is that there is so much software and technology available that is available for free. All the software that this server is running on and the software that my remote control uses is all free. Isn’t the internet wonderful?
By the way the remote that I’m using I got on ebay.com and is not expensive at all. check out this for an example ($4.00).
