Just got the call today. It looks like its going to cost $45,000 (jamaican) which converts to $1,420 Canadian.

It was nice for payday to come. I can eat again.
I also paid a good chunk out of my pay to sign up at a gym at a small college at the foot of the hill. When you sign up they make you train with one of their wieght trainers the first day (this huge black tank). It seemed odd at first but after he forced me to do legs I realized it was a good thing. He also fixed my form on a widegrip shoulder press I was doing.
Still no word on how much the accident is going to cost.
