I went surfing today with barret and nicholson. Rented everything I could (ie not boots) and froze my ass off. There are a few photos in the photo guide on outersurf.

I have also had unauthorized bids placed with my ebay account. I’m not sure how this has happened but I’ve been the winner of bids that I have not made. Which sucks. I’ve followed their instructions for account theft and also tried to retract what I could.

Victory at Halifax Beachfest

I played in men?s 4′s and co-ed 4′s at the Halifax Beachfest tournament. Our men?s team came in 1st place winning Aliant.net pullover golf jackets. The tournament was a blast with socials on Friday and Saturday night. After the social at the Argyle on Saturday night (ghetto land) I went to electropolus to meet up with Mario and Danny (who had already sold my ticket). I stayed for an hour or two (sober) and then went home. I had a good time and I think Mario and Danny had a really good time.

Hopefully I will be heading to the beach with jeff this week, while at the same time paying for my bad luck, which is only rivalled by Kelsey’s.

They were wrong

Turns out just as I had thought, the $20 was legit. I can pick it up any time.

Since I was heading off for the weekend I had washed all my clothes on Friday and Saturday. While doing this I found $100 (4 $20′s a $10 and two $5′s) in the washing machine and drier (I suspect from nights out when I stuffed a $20 in my pocket to make sure I a little spare cash).

Apparently washing, or ‘laundering’ your money makes the HRM Police show up at Park Lane when you buy two movie tickets. Both $20′s that I had left showed up as fakes under the ‘rigorous’ tests performed by the Famous Players staff. I suspect after they check out the appropriated $20 bill (in addition to the one I paid for the tickets with) they will have to return it.
