As I first noticed in almost two years ago in 2003, blog spam has been a major issue. It has caused google to re-evaluate their outlook on indexing blogs (a bad thing) and has cuased endless grief from people who just want to write.

I have been a bit lazy I must admit. I knew that I was getting comment spam but was a bit too lazy to do anything about it. Just before writing this I deleted over 20 000 spam comments. I’ve been a supporter of B2 and now WordPress since back in 2003 and I am very pleased with the plugins that users have contributed to WordPress to combat spam.

Lets hope from here on in we can be spam free.

As posted previously, I spent the weekend volunteering at the Airshow on my own time (I was volunteering as a Restricted Area pass holder, which allowed the Army to setup their show etc. hence the large number of Army photos from the Airshow).
