Yesterday we spent a lovely day touring a Nova Scotian dairy farm. We were given a tour of the various barns, buildings and processing rooms. We also helped out in the afternoon milking of the cows and got to see some of the calves on the farm as well as other animals. Gabriel loved it all, though I think the adults in enjoyed it at least as much as he did.
It has been embarrassingly long since I posted a public post, so I figured I should post an update.
Oliver turned 4 years old today. We had a lovely birthday party for him at Point Pleasant Park. Brittany organized a face painter and a balloon artist, both who were very talented (though the boys all just wanted ‘light savers’, probably the easiest thing in her repertoire). I headed out tonight for a Night Sky Photography Field Trip with the Camera Club of Hilton Head, led by Zach Grether. It was one of the colder nights of our stay here in Hilton Head, so we didn’t stay out too long, but there was a clear sky and a large group of participants.
